The 2008 Kalachakra mantras’ retreat will follow the same lines as
the 2007 retreat at Jamyang Center in London with the London Kalachakra
group and Andy Wistreich. The retreat will be guided by Sofia Stril-Rever
and Roy Sutherwood in French and English.
Programme:
- Wednesday June 18th: 6 to 8 pm: welcome meeting
and registration at Kalachakra center
- Thursday June 19th: 9am to 5pm: Full Body, Speech
and Mind Kalachakra Sadhana recitation will be in English, please
bring your text. From 7pm onwards; continuous mantra recitation.
(people will sign up a board to keep the mantra count at the Center)
- Friday June 20th to Sunday June 22nd: mantra recitation
in 3 formal sessions : 9 am to 11:30 am - 1pm to 3 pm – 7 pm to 9
pm, 3 pm to 5:30 pm meditative walk with mantras’ recitation in hospitals’
gardens nearby and to the Wall of Peace, near the Eiffel Tower
- Tsok: every day after the last session
- From Monday 23rd on: optional following up for
those who didn’t finish and wish to complete the 100 000 mantras –
individual guidance provided by Sofia Stril-Rever
The mantras will be counted and sent to His Holiness the Dalaï-Lama,
in support of the IKN request for Kalachakra teachings by His Holiness.
Costs: 10 € per day, participation fee to Kalachakra
Center, plus tsok offerings
Registration: Registration in advance only, there
is a limited number of participants. We can direct participants in advance
to cheap hotels only 3 min walk from Kalachakra Center.
